The International Home Care Nurses Organization (IHCNO; www.ihcno.org) and the American Nurses Association (ANA) are conducting a research study to give nurses who provide care for persons in their homes a voice in developing the new Home-Based Nursing: International Scope and Standards of Practice. Survey 3 of the study is now open.

| | ICHNO Advocacy CommitteeIn May 2024 we published our first installation in the IHCNO digital newsletter. We defined advocate, advocacy, and encouraged our membership to consider the importance of advocacy. Advocates defend, support, and promote the interests of a group.
In this our second installment, we will share an amazing TEDx Talk, “Lessons from Nursing to the World”, Kathleen Bartholomew’s, nursing story of saving patient’s lives, dismantling hierarchies, and forming healthy team alliances, who we are, and where your IHCNO Advocacy committee is headed. |
