Welcome to 2025! IHCNO is beginning the year with action. Registration is open for our 4-webinar series, Into the Future: Advancing Home-Based Nursing Practice.
Please go to our Webinars Page for more information and to register. The series is offered to IHCNO members at no cost as a member benefit. For non-members, there is a small cost of $25 (United States Dollars) to register for one webinar, or $50 to register for two or more and this includes a one-year membership in IHCNO. We welcome you to be part of our organization. The webinars are listed below:

Study to Guide the Development of the New
Home-Based Nursing: International Scope & Standards of Practice
The International Home Care Nurses Organization (IHCNO; www.ihcno.org) and the American Nurses Association (ANA) are conducting a research study to give nurses who provide care for persons in their homes a voice in developing the new Home-Based Nursing: International Scope and Standards of Practice. Survey 3 of the study is now open.
Study Eligibility.
- You are eligible to participate in this study if you provide nursing care in people’s homes; or you supervise, educate, conduct research, or provide policies for those who do.
- You can participate in Survey 3 whether or not you participated in Survey 1 and 2.
- We seek nurses from all countries around the world who practice all types of in-home nursing services.
- Study Description.
- Survey 3 should take about 20 minutes to complete.
- Do not forget to click on the Submit button after completing the survey.
- Please complete the survey
- After completing the survey, you will have the opportunity to be acknowledged as a contributor to the Home-Based Nursing: International Scope and Standards of Practice. The To-Be-Acknowledged button takes you to a separate site, not associated with the survey data, where you can provide your name, credentials country, and e-mail.

International Guidelines
The International Guidelines for Home Health Nursing Practice (Guidelines) are guiding principles for nurses who aspire to provide excellent care to patients in their homes. The Guidelines were developed by international home care nurses from diverse countries to provide guidance to nurses around the globe who seek to develop their professional home healthcare practice and performance.
